Meet our Founder & Owner
Tina Fortebuono has built her business on just that. Tina is the owner of Ciao Bella Salon and Spa. There are multiple Ciao Bella locations throughout the Main Line and King of Prussia areas, all of which are located in upscale senior living communities.
When building her business Tina felt that it was imperative to make sure that all Ciao Bella salon's were tailored to senior clientele. She is very passionate about partnering with the communities’ management teams to enhance their marketing efforts. Tina believes that today’s seniors want modern styles and colors, plus massages and great manicures and pedicures. They want to look and feel fantastic and she gets a lot of joy from helping them achieve that.
Meet our Director of Operations
Alex Fortebuono, daughter of founder and owner Tina Fortebuono, serves as the Director of Operations at Ciao Bella Salon & Spa. After graduating from Temple University in 2021 with a bachelor’s degree in Finance and Accounting, Alex gained valuable experience working in various corporate finance and accounting roles.
From a young age, Alex admired her mother’s entrepreneurial spirit and always envisioned herself following a similar path. She knew early on that she wanted to become a businesswoman and eventually take over the family business.
Throughout her college years and professional career, Alex remained actively involved in supporting and assisting with the growth of Ciao Bella. On April 1, 2024, she officially joined the company full-time, bringing with her a fresh, modern perspective and a strong foundation in business operations.
Since stepping into her role, Alex has played a pivotal part in elevating the company. When she began, all 20+ salon locations relied on manual processes. Within just six months, she successfully transitioned the entire business to a fully paperless system, streamlining operations and improving efficiency across all locations.
Driven by her goal to one day own Ciao Bella Salon & Spa, Alex is committed to mastering every aspect of the beauty industry. To further expand her knowledge and hands-on expertise, she enrolled in beauty school, deepening her understanding of both the business and artistic sides of the industry.
Looking ahead, Alex is excited to continue working alongside her mother, learning from the woman who inspired her entrepreneurial journey from the very beginning. Together, they remain committed to growing Ciao Bella while preserving the family values and exceptional level of care the company was built on. One of the most rewarding parts of Alex's role is serving the senior community. She is passionate about helping seniors look and feel their very best, knowing that something as simple as haircut, fresh color, or manicure can restore confidence, bring joy, and brighten someone's day. She is honored to play a part in making every client feel beautiful, valued, and cared for.
