Three Ways To Get Longer and Stronger Hair
Have you ever wondered how you can attain fuller hair? Most people believe that voluminous and healthy hair cannot be achieved without the help of genetics, hair pieces, or styling products, but that is simply not the case. There is an excess of things that you can do to get stronger and longer hair… and most of them you can do without even having to leave your home!
1) Vitamins: If you have not tried hair vitamins already they may be worth a shot. There are all different types of hair vitamins on the market right now. Natures Bounty Hair Skin and Nails with Collagen are a personal favorite or mine and can be found out Walmart, but any vitamin whose main ingredients are biotin and collagen will do the trick. One thing to be aware of when it comes to hair vitamins is that they will not work for everybody. Hair vitamins will only encourage hair growth in those who are deficient in biotin and/or collagen. Taking hair vitamins if you are not deficient in either of these vitamins will not hurt you- but they also will not help your hair grow.
2) Castor Oil: For sparse areas such as the hairline and eyebrows, a castor oil treatment might be beneficial for you. Castor oil is a vegetable oil pressed from castor beans. It helps to strengthen and moisturize your scalp, which is essential for hair growth, while also strengthening the hair strands that are already on your head. If you are going to try and use castor oil you will want to make sure that you use it sparingly, as a little goes a long way and make sure to thoroughly wash the oil out of your hair.
3) Scalp Massages: You may not have realized that the amazing shampoo that your hairstylist gives you has more benefits than just relaxation. Stimulating the scalp through massage not only helps hair to grow quicker, but it also helps hair to grow thicker. Massaging your scalp expands the hair follicles creating accelerated hair growth. If you cannot make it to the hairdresser for a shampoo and style, you can always give yourself a scalp massage at home on dry hair. It is just as effective.
